Biography

Jessica Allen performs regularly in musical theater productions, recitals and as a guest soloist throughout New England. She performed the role of Maria in the Middlebury Community Players’ production of The Sound of Music in April 2010, and has also recently performed with the Lyric Theatre Company, Hinesburg Artist Series, Marble Valley Players and the Opera Company of Middlebury. She performed Lieder with the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria in July and August 2009 where she worked with world-renowned soprano Barbara Bonney.

Ms. Allen teaches private voice lessons at her studios in Middlebury and Colchester, Vermont and is the vocal coach for the Vermont Youth Orchestra Chorus and Chorale and for the Middlebury College Women’s Glee Club. She is member of NATS, has a B.S. in music from John Brown University and M.M. from Michigan State University.
